My products nor the shopify store itself show up when typing them into the google search bar.
I have waited 4 weeks now changing something up every week that I think might make the difference.
As far as I can tell I set up everything correctly in shopify and google merchant center.
All my products are shown as active in both applications.
All the products are approved.
Everything regarding my shopify/gmc account seems to be fine.
I’ve watched a few videos and read a few forum posts and tried most of the solutions but nothing seemed to work.
Is there anything that I could have missed or forgotten to do that prevents my products from showing up in google search?
Are you talking about free listings or shopping ads?
Hello @Malik_Ayad ,
This is Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
Can you drop your store URL? Is your domain brand new? If so, it may take some time for Google to start indexing your products.
If your Shopify store products are not appearing in Google search results, it can be frustrating and impact your business’s visibility online. There can be several reasons why your store and products may not be showing up in Google search results.
-
Make sure your website’s robots.txt file is not blocking Google from crawling your website. You can check this by typing “robots.txt” at the end of your website URL (e.g., www.yourwebsite.com/robots.txt).
-
Submit your Shopify store’s sitemap of your website to Google through Google Search Console. This can help Google to crawl and index your website more efficiently.
-
Make sure the products in Google Merchant Center are all approved. If disapproved, you can see the list of errors with affected products in the Diagnostics section.
Login to your Google Merchant Center account
Click on the left side “Products” menu
Click on the “Diagnostics” menu and you can see all item issue
- Make sure your website’s SEO is optimized by using relevant keywords in your product descriptions, titles, and meta tags. Also, ensure that your website has relevant and high-quality content.
I hope these suggestions help you improve your Google search results and drive more traffic to your website.

Hello Gina.
Can you explain something to me because it’s not very clear to me.
I launched my online store a few days ago, the only source of marketing is blogs on the store, at first I had no visits to the site, after a few days the viewership and visits are abnormally low, in a few days my shop reached 960 visits.
After one change on the shop and the addition of 4 new blogs from one visit, they stopped.
I am interested in the following:
Does shopifly need time for pixels from shops to warm up to get to google search?
And will it happen every time you make changes to the shop?
Greetings.
I’m talking about free ads or blogs that I have on the shop.
Once I had a large influx of visitors, then when I added a new blog to the store, the visits suddenly stopped.
So I don’t understand why?
Hi @Malik_Ayad
I have read your feedback here, and may I know if you submitted the website’s sitemap to Google before in Google Search Console? If not, Google may not be able to crawl and get your store’s recent updates properly. Moreover, make sure to check your page contents if individual and well-optimized, and see if you finish the related settings properly, such as meta tags, keywords, and index/follow codes. In this way, your page will have a better performance and have a higher opportunity to see your pages in search results.
By the way, to get an overall understanding of your website SEO status, you can consider using SEO APP to do a full scan under the current situation. You can use SEOAnt to do the analysis, and it will share with you a report to improve your website’s situation.
