Google Search Result URLS are Different than My Actual URLS

First off, I am SEO illiterate. Just being honest. The URL that is coming up in Google Search Results is being changed by Google.

In my Merchant Center, if I search for product EP1334ECM1 you will see that the product Hawk M1 Tubeless Lapel Microphone EP1334ECM1 for Motorola APX/TRBO comes up with a URL of https://earphoneguy.com/products/hawk-m1-tubeless-lapel-microphone-ep1334ecm1-for-motorola-apx-trbo-1?variant=31462580584548&country=US&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic.

But when you search for Hawk M1 Tubeless Lapel Microphone EP1334ECM1 for Motorola APX/TRBO on Google my site comes up and when you click on the link it takes you to this link: https://earphoneguy.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoq_ISRLICIDiic4De8qAAiPzAOYm-2WZE1awTLW2IDMKITlwoj7 which is not a real link and it just goes to my homepage. Sometimes the link from Google is different than above.

This is happening with some of my products, but not all. How do I get Google to stop changing the URL? This is my main source of income and is impacting my sales. I have hired a couple of people to look at this with no resolve.

I had a lady setup Google Ads Conversion tracking. I am not sure how long this has been happening, but it is some of my key products.

Please and thank you for any help!

When I search for Hawk M1 Tubeless Lapel Microphone EP1334ECM1 for Motorola APX/TRBO on Google, I see the result below.

Notice at the bottom of my screenshot (the highlighted part) that it’s taking you to a different URL than the one you have above.

Your URL in the post: https://earphoneguy.com/products/hawk-m1-tubeless-lapel-microphone-ep1334ecm1-for-motorola-apx-trbo-1

URL on Google: https://earphoneguy.com/products/ep1334ecm1-hawk-m1-tubeless-lapel-microphone-for-motorola-apx-trbo-now-available-with-nab-option

It looks like the URL you have showing up in search results has been removed from your live site and is redirecting to your homepage.

Google isn’t changing anything. My guess is that you removed the old product URL, created a new one, and Google Search hasn’t indexed the new URL. If that old URL should point to the new one, then you need to change your redirect in Shopify to use the correct current product URL.

You are amazing! The only person out of about 5 people trying to resolve this who even mentioned URL redirects. And frankly, I had never even been to that part of Shopify. But you nailed it. There are a ton of redirects in there. I am working through them now. I have no idea how or why they were created. I clearly have a lot of work to do with these. I will be reaching out to you regarding your SEO services. I like to work with people who help people. And you absolutely are a super hero!!

Thank you!!
