our current issue is that the crawler for SEO optimization does not crawl our product page and cant identify the suitable metadata such as titel, url description. Instead, only the main index page is being crawled.
Good evening, thank you for taking your time to review the issue. I went through your feedback one by one but cant find any issue. My comments:
to 1. robots.txt file seems to be not blocking any content according to google search console
to 2. sitemap.xml: it shows on shopify that the “products” are inside the sidemap, but not the individual breakdown of the products itself, only general:
At google search consul I can also see the 13 discovered pages under “products” which are the number of products we have.
to 3. the meta data have unique description. The products can be similar but are not the same as the properties are different.
So it seems that the product pages are crawled but seems to be cralwing the meta data from the the wrong page, the index page instead of the product itself.
Do you have any further ideas on how to solve this issue?
