With the changes to checkout code the old method does not work. Does anyone know an app that actually works? I have tried two and they don’t work. No increase in the # of opt in offers or reviews.
Also for some people who get confused, I am not trying to sync my reviews to google. I am trying to implement the Google Survey Opt-in prompt.
Which two did you try? There’s a good chance they weren’t yet updated for the new checkout system, or alternatively were working out some kinks.
easy Google Customer Reviews by Union Works is working for people. $20/month, has a trial. Check the reviews, people specifically mention it fixed things after the checkout changes.
One thing though, your store needs to have upgraded to the new post-purchase pages first. If that hasn’t happened, no app is going to work. You’ll see an upgrade notice in your checkout settings if you still need to do it.
Shopify old check out system broke Google survey, so basic script or additional script no longer works, and that’s also why your past apps stop working.
