Google Tag not found at Checkout page

Hi. My google tag is available on the website but for some reason its not available at the check out page or the thank you page for some reason.

I added all the code properly according to the instructions in the theme.liquid and I also added the additional script in the setting → checkout → additional scripts

But for some reason, the tag is not available on the checkout page. It is able to track everything up to the cart though.

This is very depressing and I spent so many hours trying to solve this. Can someone please help me out with this issue? Thanks.

Hello @niranjankt ,

Yes, you may add the code in the right places. However, the Google tag will not be found on the checkout page because it’s something that Shopify hosts on their end. And only Shopify Plus customers can have access to this “checkout.liquid” file.

In order to track the sales you can track them using the Cart page and the Thank You page.
