Last week, I was able to go into google and youtube app from settings then click on products that needed attention and bulk edit them. In the bulk editor, next to the product, it showed or highlighted what needed corrected. I cannot find that this week. Where did it go?
Topic summary
A user reports that the Google & YouTube app’s bulk editor interface has changed. Previously, they could access a bulk editor from the app settings that highlighted specific product issues needing correction alongside each product.
Current Status:
- This highlighting/flagging feature is no longer visible or accessible
- The change occurred within the past week
Suggested Workarounds:
- Check Sales Channels > Google & YouTube > Manage Listings for alternative bulk editing options
- Use Shopify’s native bulk editor (Products > Bulk Edit) and manually add Google-specific fields
- Export products to CSV, make corrections offline, then re-upload
Likely Cause:
Google may have updated the app interface or removed the feature entirely. The issue remains unresolved with no official confirmation of whether this is a temporary bug or permanent change.
Hi @kpbd
sounds like Google may have updated the app’s interface or removed the bulk editor feature. Try checking under Sales Channels > Google & YouTube > Manage Listings to see if there’s an alternative way to bulk edit.
If that doesn’t work, you can use Shopify’s bulk editor by going to Products > Bulk Edit and adding Google fields manually. Another option is exporting your products, making edits in a CSV file, and re-uploading
