Hi,

I have been using the Google & YouTube app (and its predecessors) on Shopify for many years. Today, I noticed that the app/Settings/Conversion event settings is recommending that I adopt new conversion actions - these appear to be similar to those that I already have in my Google Ads account:

So:

  • Do I need to accept them?
  • What if any, are the benefits of doing so?
  • Is there any risk of breaking my current Google Ads performance?
  • Is it possible to roll back to my current setup in the event things go wrong?

Thanks in advance!

CartCrafted, you are a very new member - can I ask what your relevant experience and credentials are?

So CartCrafted was a bot and has now been removed - Henrry below is also a bot.

At this point I give up and will not be returning to or recommending this Shopify ‘community’, unless a human persuades me otherwise.

Another ‘new member’ bot response.

And there we go - a spammer
