Gst rates based on product classification in india

Hey people, how can I set different GST rates as in India we have different rates based on clothing material and products? I have no manual collection, its automated. Please someone help

If you sell products that are taxed at different tax rates (slabs), you will need to add tax overrides.

To set up tax overrides in Shopify:

  1. Go to Settings → Taxes in your Shopify admin and click India.
  2. Scroll down to Tax overrides.
  3. Add a collection of products from your store that should be taxed differently and set their Tax Rates for both India and individual states.

You need to create a manual collection for products that require a tax override.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products > Collections.
  2. Click Create collection, and then enter a name for it.
  3. Under Collection type, select Manual
  4. If you want to hide the collection from any of your active sales channels, then click Manage in the Collection availability section to deselect the check box beside the name of the sales channel.
  5. Click Save.

Hi - this won’t work as there also has to be an override for your own state for the newer rates too - is it possible to do this in Shopify?
