Hi, I am populating my initial art prints from Printful into Shopify (“Dawn” theme.) For example, I have an octopus design. I want to sell it (1) on paper (2) on canvas and (3) framed and matted. (Down the road actually I will likely also have (4) original, for any given piece of art.)
RIght now, the store template displays these (1), (2) and (3) as entirely separate products. This means the same octopus art shows up three times on the home page, and also in any collections. My concern: the buyer has to click each product separately to get info on these different treatments of the same art. This makes it hard to compare sizes, prices, etc.
Ideally, instead, this octopus art would show up as one item, the buyer clicks, then sees they have a choice of medium to order the octopus on, paper, canvas, framed, all on the same page.
Is this possible? ![]()
If it’s not possible within the theme and it requires customization, which is beyond my budget right now, is there a suggested workaround to create a better user experience of my shop? This is a point of aggravation for me so I’m considering only have framed/matted versions available for now, but, that will for sure cut down on the number of sales.
Thanks for any help with the problem, and also for any creative ideas for workarounds. In case it helps, the shop isn’t publicized yet but is live: andreajleeart.com
