Has anyone experienced identity verification issues with Shopify payments?

Shopify has placed payments to my store on hold and requested I submit a government issued identity to verify my identification.

Has anyone else received a similar request?

My efforts to submit jpeg images of the id have failed. Does anybody have a suggestion?

Does anyone have a number I could call to get assistance?

Hi Shopify Support Team,

I’ve come across the same problem. I have submitted photo ID multiple times over the past 5 days and am still receiving emails asking to ‘Verify Identity’. Can I please get some help with this?
