Is it possible that when a product is loaded as default no variant will be selected and the image will show the default?
For example see above, when the page is loaded it has the first variant selected. Instead I’d love for none to be selected and the default image show until the user selects.

The example is in the bottom right of the homepage. The default image showing then when viewing the product it defaults to the first variant/photo.
It’s not the end of the world if this can’t be changed but I think it’s a better look/function to have the page load without any selected.

I checked it out, I think there might be pricing issues if you select nothing when the page loads. It might potentially break the page. Better to leave it like this.

It appears to me that this is default Shopify functionality. They purposely select the default variant, like you say to show the price. I suppose if they didn’t they would need to disable the add to cart button and hide the price until selected. I see why they have designed it this way but it’s a shame from a user standpoint.
