Has anyone encountered placing orders and being charged for the orders, but then the store is no longer existing? I haven’t received 2 of my orders and there is no way to contact the store creator. Even the contact email address is not working. How does Shopify allow this to happen to customers with no way to make contact or resolve the issue???

As Shopify is a platform used by many merchants to sell online, we are unable to manage day-to-day operations or intervene in the order process. If however, you placed an order online, I’d encourage you to check out our Order FAQ Page for more information on how to proceed.
If after 4 weeks you still have not received your order, we recommend contacting your bank for steps on how to proceed. This will ensure that the appropriate guidance can be given as well as the next steps on how to retrieve funds to get this resolved.

Ugh! Yes. Mine showed delivered but the store simply reused/recycled an existing tracking number. The reviews All read the stores s fraud yet Shopify did nothing. Now the store is closed and I’m still out my money. I’ve tried to contact Shopify and the store (before they shut down) with no response. It’s terrible! Shopify customer service non existent for customers.
Yes, happened to me two weeks ago, there are several ‘shops’ on this site that are fraudulent, I’ve come across 3 today, probably all from the same person(s) selling the same item. Luckily I’ve got my money back from my Credit Card company, but what happens to these shops/people? I’ve reported them but they’re still online - and do they get to keep the money???
