Haven't Received New Shopify Capital Offer After Paying 70% of Second Loan

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a similar situation. I’ve successfully used Shopify Capital twice and have currently paid off over 70% of my second loan. Despite this, I haven’t received any new offers yet.

Shopify Capital has been incredibly helpful for my business — it allowed me to resolve cash flow issues and I’ve almost doubled my sales (around 50% increase) since the last funding. However, I’ve been unable to get in touch with Shopify Support due to the automated system that now redirects everything to the AI assistant. I’m not getting any clear responses on the status of potential future offers.

Has anyone been in this situation before — where no new offer showed up even after a significant repayment, and then eventually received one?
I’d appreciate any insights, advice, or experiences you can share.

Even if you’re in good standing and sales have increased, new offers are based on a mix of real-time sales trends, chargeback history, average order value, and even seasonal performance. If there’s any slowdown or inconsistency, it might delay the offer algorithm from kicking in.

Some merchants get offers after 60% repayment. Others only get it after 80% or even after full repayment — especially during times Shopify is being more cautious with lending (which they’ve been lately).

You’re right — their AI system often gives vague responses. If you want a human to review your account, go through “Store Management > Shopify Capital” in the Help Center and request a callback or live agent. You might have to push a bit.
