Having issues customizing separate pages on Sense theme?

Hello,

I recently began customizing my online store using the Sense theme. However, I’ve encountered an issue while trying to customize the “pages” section.

In my main menu, I’ve added some pages. Yet, when I click on two of them (“Our Community” and “Products”), they display the same information as the “About Us” page. If I attempt to delete this information, it also disappears from the “About Us” page.

I’ve already consulted a Shopify agent who confirmed that my settings were correct. They advised me to contact you for further assistance.

Could you please provide instructions on how to customize each page separately? I want to personalize them differently.

I understand your frustration with customizing pages in the Sense theme on Shopify. By default, all pages share the same page template, which is why changes made to one page affect the others.

Here are the steps to create and assign unique page templates so you can customize them separately:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize
  2. Select Pages > Default Page from the page selector, then click Create template
  3. Edit the new template as needed, then save it

Next, you’ll need to assign each page to its own template:

  1. Go to Online Store > Pages in your Shopify admin
  2. Use the search filter to locate the page you want to change, or click on it from the list
  3. In the Online store section, use the dropdown menu to select the new page template to apply
  4. Click Save

Repeat these steps for each page you want to customize individually. You’ll then be able to edit the content, sections and blocks of each page template separately without affecting the other pages.

I know this can seem complicated at first, especially if you’re not familiar with code. But with a bit of practice, you’ll be able to master customizing your Shopify store and give it the unique look you want. Feel free to reach out again if you have any other questions!
