Having issues with 2 different GDPR apps!

I have installed 2 apps in the last 40days on my Shopify.

  1. First I installed Free GDPR + EU Cookie by Coupo

  2. Customer Privacy Banner by Shopify (a developer recommended this app to me, he uninstalled the previous app and replaced it with this one)

I saw an almost immediate drop not only in sales but in audience too. I use Facebook ads.

Even after I deleted the 2 apps from admin, the results stayed the same. So I am wondering…

Is there a possibility that the settings (from the apps) are still as they were? Because when I am using the FB Pixel helper extension, the pixel is not triggered!

The same applies to the GA. The drop of the users is about 90%!

If yes, what do I do now?

You should contact each of the two applications’ support for help.

I would recommend contacting their support as well.

If you consider downloading another GDPR app I would suggest you check the GDPR/CCPA + Cookie Management app.

I use it in my store and works perfectly.
