Having trouble using useAppMetafields hook as its returning results that are not consisitent

having trouble using the useAppMetafields hook
as it returns results that are not consistent time return and sometimes returns an array with value. It was working smoothly previously.
console.log(“appMetaFields”, useAppMetafields());
any one faced such an issue as well ?
