Having trouble with domain transfer from Squarespace to Shopify?

Hello,

I am in the process of transferring my custom domain from Squarespace to Shopify. I have gone through all of the prompts within both sites. The domain was not locked on Squarespace and provided me with the transfer authentication code. On Shopify I was told I would be getting an email to confirm the transfer and to check both primary and spam folders. The email never came through. It reads as “awaiting transfer” on Shopify domain section, but again, no confirmation email was received.

Now, not only is it not confirmed, but my online store is not live on either platform. Help please!

You must contact Shopify Support if you’re not getting the email.

Usually it takes 4-5 days to transfer the domain but it would be a good option to contact Domain registrar and Shopify support to get the idea.
