Hello, I have a header that is covering my image on my product page. I can’t turn it off otherwise I don’t have a header even for my homepage. Is there something I can adjust to make sure it dosen’t cover my image? Thanks
Topic summary
A store owner reports that their header is overlapping product images on product pages. They cannot disable the header without affecting the homepage.
Suggested Solutions:
- Image sizing: Check that product images have correct aspect ratios and crop them as rectangles before uploading
- Header transparency: Consider making the header semi-transparent or adjusting its background
- Image management: Save copies of images before cropping to preserve originals
Current Status:
The store owner has shared their URL (ellespades.com) with password access for further troubleshooting. The issue appears to involve CSS/HTML customization of the header element conflicting with product page layout.
It looks like you have all OK with images containers, but the images are with the wrong sizes ratio.
Go to the product, media, click on the image, click on tho crop icon, crop image as a rectangle.
Save images before cropping, if you don’t have their copies.
Also, half transparent header’s background can be a solution
