Issue: After clicking COA and clicking another menu item it opens that menu item into a new tab

COA: using pages to edit the file

Expected behavior: next menu item after coa should not open a new tab

I found that it has something to do with the way my page is formatted. When i erased all the text content in the coa page and tested the menu item. it does not open a new menu link. Once i added the first hyperlink it started doing this.

HOWEVER, my old page had hyperlinks before just fine. I reformatted it to center align the header and it started doing this. Now I cant go back.
