Is it possible to maintain a single Shopify store and route products to two different domains (based on two product brands that are in the single instance of Shopify). We want to do this using our own custom front-end (no Shopify theme). Technically it seems possible and I understand both websites would share a common checkout. Are there any reasons this wouldn’t be possible?
Problems I can see are mostly related to analytics since the domains would be different the session tracking and attribution will break.
Another problem is post order journey for customers, I am assuming that you would be using some third party apps to send out order status update emails and notifications and those email would likely confuse your customers if it comes from another domain.
Third problem is the User consent for marketing and other emails. Users provide consent specific to domain so in order to use the data for other domain you’d need to mention it somewhere on the website as well.
