Help Creating a Custom Collection Page on Shopify

I need help creating a new collection page on Shopify where the product grid shows a specific collection. I also want to customize the page with banners that won’t affect other collection pages. When I try to do this through the editor, it either links to the same page or doesn’t work as expected. How can I achieve this?

I use DAWN theme

Go to “Customize” select collection then “create template” and update this

Then go to collection where you want to assign the new collection template and save

Hello,

To add unique sections to a specific collection, you’ll need to create a new collection template. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to Online store → Themes → Customize.
  2. In the top dropdown menu, select Collections → Create template:

  1. Choose a name for your new template and create it.
  2. Once the template is created, customize it by adding the unique sections you’d like.

Next, assign the template to the desired collection:

  1. Go to the admin area of the collection.
  2. Locate the Theme template dropdown and select the template you just created.

Important: This dropdown will only display templates that are part of your live theme. If the template is created in a non-live theme, it won’t appear in the dropdown.
