help embedding newsletter sign up form on page atlantic theme

I am trying in vain to add this code provided by the form app (called poptin). to add a newsletter sign up form I designed in the app — that connects to our newsletter’s API — to a newsletter sign up page.

The app’s help page has not proved fruitful, and I just want this to appear in the content of the page.

I have tried putting it in the HTML editor of the page, and in various places in the code - page template, and theme.liquid. This did not work, and was given a JSON error. Any suggestions of where to put this code would be greatly appreciated, and would prevent me from pulling all my hairs out. Thank you so much!

I checked API of app. I saw display=false. So I think it relate to your setting.

You can check status, rules of form.

  1. has the status been turned on?

  1. And check rules to show form as well

Thank you, but I had already checked all the settings. I have turned it all off for now, as when the app tried to help, it attached to every single page we have. Perhaps just not the right app for our needs. Thank you for your help.
