Help get rid of floating header on product pages with new theme update

Topic summary

A Shopify store owner encountered an unwanted floating header displaying “add to basket” and the product name on product pages after updating to Whisk theme version 11.0.2. The floating element appears when scrolling down, with no apparent option to disable it in theme settings.

Proposed Solution:

  • Navigate to theme customizer → Sections → Header
  • Locate and disable the “Sticky Header” option
  • Save changes to remove the floating header

Current Status:
One commenter noted the floating header was no longer visible when they checked, suggesting either the issue resolved itself or the solution was already applied. Alternative recommendation was to contact the theme provider directly if the problem persists.

I updated my theme to Whisk version 11.0.2 and now have a weird floating header with “add to basket” and the product name on every product page when you scroll down, as can be seen at www.udderlynuts.com. Any idea how to disable this? I don’t see an option in the theme settings.

Hey @StephenM88 ,

From the theme customiser, go to “Sections”, then click on “Header” as shown in the screenshot below.

Then, look for the “Sticky Header” option and disable it. Save the theme and your issue should be fixed now.

I hope it helps.

Hi @StephenM88

This is seems that it is a Theme issue. I would contact your theme provider. Yoiu can try to hide it as well. Actually, I dont see it now
