Hello everyone, I wanted to see if I could get some feedback. Been running ads for a few days. Been getting decent amount of visitors but not even a single add to cart yet. What do yall think I could add? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Topic summary
Main issue: After a few days of paid ads, the store is getting a decent number of visitors but no add-to-cart events or sales.
Key product-page improvements proposed:
- Surface core info above the fold: move product details, price, and the add-to-cart button higher so they’re visible without scrolling.
- Add ingredients and nutritional facts prominently (important for edible products); example references and annotated images were provided.
- Create a benefits section highlighting practical perks like free shipping and easy returns.
- Implement a FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) element, e.g., a limited-time countdown for deals.
Sitewide/marketing suggestions:
- Adjust the floating header (pin it at the top) to reduce distraction.
- Integrate social media feeds for social proof; leverage micro‑influencer collaborations.
- Connect offline and online (share store URL with physical customers); use post‑purchase surveys to find the strongest acquisition channels.
Actions/outcomes:
- The store owner agrees with the feedback and plans to implement these changes; they were already considering similar ideas.
Status:
- No resolution yet; changes are pending. Several illustrative images are central to understanding the proposed layout updates.
Hi @Csiebels888 ,
I’m Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder app.
With my experience in building high-converting stores, I’d like to suggest some improvements that you could apply to your product page to convert your shop better:
1. Include ingredients and nutritional facts
Commonly in the F&B industry, consumers want to be informed clearly about what they eat. The information can be ingredients, nutritional facts, and more. As a pet owner, I also prioritize understanding these details before feeding products to my dog.
However, your product ingredients and nutritional facts are not prioritized and are not shown on the first screen.
You can refer to Bocce’s Bakery - a pet treat brand with organic ingredients, they add an image to show all the ingredients in their products in the product details section.
2. Reorganize your product page for better user experience
Your store has an amazing design. However, to enhance conversion rates, you may need to make some changes to the layout. On your product page, please move the product details a little bit higher so visitors can see all the necessary information such as product information, price, or add to cart button on their first screen without scrolling too much.

3. Add a benefits section
You can capture a new audience’s attention by establishing brand authority and highlighting the benefits of your products. Consider placing more emphasis on free shipping & returns worked because these practical benefits were the next barrier to purchase.

4. Implement FOMO strategy
Leveraging the ‘Fear of Missing Out’ (FOMO) to encourage purchases is an effective strategy. You can add a countdown timer to remind customers about a good deal, such as:
Besides these points, your store looks fantastic. Continue your excellent work and remain patient. Happy new year!!!

Hi Csiebels888,
This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.
First of all, your site looks quite wonderful and professionally put together. I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase your conversion rate:
-
Floating header. I thought the floating header was a bit odd. While it makes for easier navigation, but it does distract from seeing the rest of the site. Perhaps you should pin it at the very top instead the the current position?
-
Connect Social Media. You already have an amazing social media account, it would help to connect the feed to your main site, thus giving it more social proof. Research shows that 76% of customers buy products seen on social media posts.
-
Influencer Collab. It would be good to connect with micro-influencers, send them some of your product, and ask them to create some content for your social media as well as your Shopify store.
-
Connecting online with offline. If you have a showroom / physical store, make sure always to tell your customers about your online store, adding a quick card with your online store address provides your new customers a chance to purchase again without coming to your physical store. Here’s an example of how one of our clients found success through both online and offline channels.
-
Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.
Hope this helps!
