The ‘information’ title at top should be same color (white) as ‘payment’. Both are highlighted in screenshot. How do I find out where to change this?

From first glance, a coding change would be the cause of the mismatched colours. Typically, the coding related to your checkout pages is not accessible unless you’re on a Shopify Plus plan. Can you confirm for me if you’re on this plan?
If you’re not, the font colour is tied to the style of theme you’re using in your store and should be changeable via the Theme Editor. A****ny font change that would impact the lettering of ‘Payment’ would have also impacted ‘Information’. Can you share with me what theme your store is using?
If possible, can you provide me a link to your website? I’m interested in navigating to the checkout myself to see if I can replicate these mismatched colours on my end. In doing so, I should be able to advise on some next steps.
The likely cause here is that the headings are hyperlinking to the previous payment step, and representing the current step the customer is on. Since those headings re-direct customers back to a previous screen, there is potential that they could appear as a different font colour depending on the page you’re on. For example, your screenshot shows that you’re on the ‘Payment’ stage of the checkout process, and the heading is white. The ‘Information’ stage would have been the previous area, appears black in colour at this screen due to it not being the one you’re currently on, but it would appear ‘white’ if you were currently on the ‘Information’ step. I can verify this theory by testing this functionality out once I have a link to your website.
To further confirm this theory, in my store for example, the headings are different depending on the page you’re on. If I’m on the ‘Payment’ step, the heading is bold ‘black’ against a white background. All the previous steps headings are classic hyperlink “blue”, to clearly indicate clicking the heading will take the user to the previous step, in case they made an error.
