My site will be selling both digital files (for printing at home) and art prints (which will be fulfilled by a print-on-demand company). I just checked out a listing for digital files (just to see how things go from a customer’s end), however I didn’t receive them via email. I received the confirmation email, but no digital files. Any thoughts? Web launch is Sunday 20th Aug, so I really want to make sure everything is functioning smoothly. I currently have an Etsy store, which will send customers their digital files with zero intervention from me- this is the way I want my Shopify to run. Thanks.
This is what I am seeing- it is looking as though an email has already been sent with the attachments, given that it says ‘RESEND…’… Gah. So frustrating. I spoke to Shopify who said that I would need to press ‘fulfil items’ first in order for the customer to receive the files. But this would be seriously annoying- I want the customers to get the files instantly, regardless of whether I am asleep or elsewhere!!
For anyone wondering- Answer to my problem was to use Filemonk app instead of the Shopify free one.
