Hi Chris! I couldn’t agree more - in fact, we have a great blog post here that shares ten tips for writing a persuasive product description if you’re interested.
To make sure those descriptions are appearing on your product pages (specifically with Canopy theme), you’ll first visit your theme editor (found in your Shopify admin via Online store > Themes > Customize). From the drop-down menu, select Products > Default product. In the sidebar, expand the section Product pages and choose Add block > Description, since it sounds like this isn’t selected by default.
