Search first
Before you type up a new post, try searching for your issue. If you see a checkmark next to a search result, it means someone else had the exact same question and it’s already been solved. It’s usually the fastest way to get your answer!
Start fresh
If you can’t find a fix, go ahead and start a brand-new topic. Try to avoid commenting on super old posts, as people don’t really check those anymore. Just give your post a clear, specific subject line. Subject lines like these get way more attention than just “traffic but no sales”:
My cart won’t update on mobile
How can I improve conversions at checkout
Give the full scoop
Since we can’t see your screen, the more details you can give us right off the bat, the faster the community can help. Tell us:
- The link to your store
- Exactly what you’re looking to achieve/fix
- What options you’ve already tried
Pictures and screen recordings are amazing, but if you’re sharing a code snippet, please use the code blocks so it's easy to read.
Close the loop
Don’t forget to click the bell on the right timeline! You’ll want to stay on top of replies and solutions. When someone gives you the fix, hit the check mark to make it an accepted solution. That way, the next person who runs into the same problem can find it easily. And hey, if you end up figuring it out yourself, share your secret and mark your own reply as the solution.
Keep it safe
Finally, if anyone ever sends you a spammy “I can help. Contact me” message, please just hit the report/flag button. It really helps foster more helpful discussion for everyone.
