I’ve added a link to my footer section, right next to the copyright section, it’s been there for quite awhile now and it’s never been indexed as a backlink on ahrefs. i want to fix this, can someone help?

- Open your theme.liquid file

would that make that link at the bottom indexable? it looks to me links at the footer are set to default as “nofollow” “noindex”?
all im trying to do is to make google follow that link and index it as a backlink.
