Help with SagePay Form (Opayo Elavon) pulling web orders from Shopify into My SagePay terminal

Hello hive mind,

I am using Opayo (Elavon) and using Shopify’s SagePay Form to connect to the Opayo Elavon as our third party payment gateway.

I could use some help with the information I can pull from Shopify into my Opayo (SagePay Terminal).

Opayo technical support have pointed me to Opayo’s Form Integration API documentation. I would like to pull a report that includes Shopify Web Order numbers.

Opayo Technical have suggested the Vendor Data field. This is reference column that can be populated by passing the “vendor data” field. This then would show up on any csv files I export from MySagePay (Opayo Elavon) terminal.

This field allows up to 200 characters and will allow numbers letters and spaces more information. All API documentation is here: https://developer-eu.elavon.com/docs/opayo-forms/api-reference/crypt-field

I guess I would need to customise the SagePay Form integration I currently use, but how would I go about this? Being a Payments, I guess that would also need to go through an approvals process?

Any help regarding next steps are greatly appreciated.

Just read your linked with opayo and shopify however when I go to settings and under payment and providers I can’t find sage pay and opayo..

Please do let me know how do you link the two up as I’m already setted up with opayo and want to setup my shopify.

I can’t find any help anywhere.

When I speak to support they don’t know as well.

Start here Getting started - Opayo - Elavon UK

Follow all the links for Form integration, they are a bit all over the place but if you keep reverting back to the Getting started - Opayo - Elavon UK

you should be able to find all the info you need.

As mentioned, the simplest way to integrate is FORM so I would advise to choose that. Opayo (Elavon) have all the info on the Form Documentation | Elavon Developer Portal it can be a bit technical but it explains all the steps.

You should be able to find SagePay Form under the settings bit in Shopify.

I can still find it under the UK available payment providers here UK Payment Gateways to Accept Customer Payment (shopify.com)

I have successfully signed up with sage pay form and Opayo,

The only thing was sage pay was an old version however they updated their system

Opayo (below).

As you are using shopify form you would not be able to use paypal as paypal will only work with direct protocol 4.0

However shopify haven’t updated their system to allow PayPal to connect with sage forum… Opayo have mention shopify won’t let them connect to 3d secure..

Abit annoying as their are restricting gateways as they lose business.

What’s annoying shopify payemtns should allow selling vapes and take the payments.

Why give your business to other gateways.

I don’t know.

Hi Amar

Glad you managed to connect Opayo and Shopify using SagePay Form.

Regarding PayPal - I would say just use PayPal express checkout straight from Shopify rather than having it on Opayo.

It will just come up as another payment option for your customer. It’s simpler that way and your customers can use PayPal.

P.S.

Keep a look out for any updates from Opayo / Elavon - I think they will update things at some point as they establish themselves more. I have also seen recent adverts about Elavon Payments with Santander (UK) so it’s interesting to see what they might offer next.
