I thought I should introduce myself properly after reading here for a while.
I’m Lars from Germany and I have been working quite intensively with Shopify development during the last months. What started as a development project became a much bigger learning experience than I expected, especially around APIs, OAuth, webhooks, billing and all the small edge cases around them
I joined the community mainly because I like the technical side of Shopify, but also because I find it interesting to see what problems merchants actually run into in daily work. Developer assumptions and real merchant problems are sometimes quite different.
So I will mostly read, learn and hopefully can help with some technical questions from time to time.
welcome, @Lars. The webhooks and OAuth edge cases you mentioned come up regularly in the technical discussions here, so your development experience will be really valuable. Jump into those threads where you have insights that’s where this community generates its best content.

Its great to have more developers sharing their real world Shopify experience here. I completely agree that working with OAuth, webhooks, billing, and APIs is where you really discover the little edge cases that arent obvious from the documentation.
