Please try to add this code to Custom CSS in Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings and check.

.button.accelerated-checkout-button {
min-height: 38px;
}

You need to Contact Shopify Support for it.
When the mode of a shadow root is “closed” , the shadow root’s implementation internals are inaccessible and unchangeable from JavaScript and css are also inefficent.

Yes, only they have the knowledge of it, allowing them to access and modify it according to your needs. This script is mostly likely out of theme and app.
