since weeks our donation app is in pending review, as the review team wants us to hide the donation product we create when installing the app. Till today, I haven’t found a way to hide it, except setting it “hidden” using metafields (the product is hidden from search then). We also tried to hide it by not setting a sales channel. The product can be added by variant then, but as soon as we go the checkout, we get an out of stock error.
The only possibility we have is to make the merchant hide it himself, by excluding it from collections. But the review team doesn’t allow this as a solution.
So, dear shopify, is there a way to hide a product from the store and but keep it buyable? If yes, how? If not, please confirm this, so I can send this post to the review team.
