Hide or Show Payment method based on the customer tags

Hello everyone,

I have a Shopify store with two types of customers: retail and wholesale. To offer discounts to my wholesale customers, I’m currently using the BOLD Discount app.

I accept payments through two methods: credit card and manual payment (cheque or cash outside of Shopify). Now, I want to hide the credit card option for wholesale customers and the manual payment option for retail customers.

We are using customer tags to differentiate between wholesale and retail customers. Could you please suggest an app or solution to help us achieve this?

To hide credit card options for wholesale customers, you can try exploring the app PayRules: Hide Payment Methods. An option for hiding manual payments for retail customers is Payfy: Payment Rules. You could also browse more app options in the Shopify App Store that best suit your business needs.

There is an app : https://apps.shopify.com/payfy-conditional-payments

But it will not work with the Discounts app or the wholesale app that will create the Draft order in the order. So if you want you can install it and try it but will work with the simple checkout page without the draft order.
