Hide out of stock item from filter

I need help with removing the out of stock options from the filter.

website link: https://hypeselection.com/collections/all-air-jordan?sort_by=created-ascending&filter.p.tag=Jordan+1+High&filter.v.price.gte=&filter.v.price.lte=

When a product model is selected in filter, some sizes have 0 stock but the 0 stock sizes still show as an option. Need help with removing those 0 stock size options from the filter.

Thank you

Hi @Vodoom :waving_hand: To do this only for the frontend, online sales channel theme, requires advanced theme customizations.

Contact me for customization services.

The simplest overall approach is to unpublish out of stock products from the channel preferably through automation.

Such as using shopify-flow, or the more advanced mechanic automation app

https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/inventory/getting-started-with-inventory/hide-out-of-stock#hide-out-of-stock-products-using-shopify-flow

https://tasks.mechanic.dev/?q=unpublish

Or to remove those filter values from the product itself when it is out of stock.

or more advanced and indirectly the “model” filter is for an automated collection with conditions to exclude out of stock products.

Alternatively in some cases explicitly add a filter for in stock out or stock products for either A) customers to manually drill down or B) use advanced theme customization to automatically check in-stock filter(s); though this scenario may be better suited for stores doing specific merchandising such as pre-orders, scheduled drops, etc more so than a general purpose workaround.
