Hide Out of Stock Variants on Craft Theme

Hi, we run a lighting shop and some of our products are sold with the following options:

  1. Shade + Base or

  2. Shade Only or

  3. Base Only

The Shade Only option is made to order so is not stock-tracked; however, the base is stock-tracked.

If the base goes out of stock we need to hide (or show as unavailable) options 1 and 3 so that the Shade Only option is the only available one.

We use a drop-down menu for the options.

Is there a way to do this using a code, rather than an app? Not all of our products have the same choices so we need it to be specific to these ones only.
