Hide Price and 'Add to Cart' button for Specific Brand

Topic summary

A merchant using the Dawn theme (v7.0.1) needs to hide prices and ‘Add to Cart’ buttons for products from the brand ‘Bloch’ due to supplier restrictions requiring in-store-only purchases. Ideally, the button text would change to ‘In-store Only’ instead.

Proposed Solutions:

  • One responder requested the store URL and brand name to provide specific guidance
  • PageFly-Victor shared a two-step solution with screenshots showing how to modify the ‘Add to Cart’ button text (images included in original post)

Additional Interest:
Another user expressed interest in the same functionality, asking whether:

  • The solution is easy to implement
  • It can be applied selectively to certain collections (since only specific items need this restriction)
  • Products can be easily added/removed from this treatment

The merchant confirmed their store URL (thestageshop.com.au) and noted that Bloch products aren’t yet published due to these restrictions. The discussion remains open with implementation details pending.

Hi!

Due to one of our supplier’s conditions, we cannot display the prices or allow customers to purchase their products online - only in-store.

Is it possible to completely hide the price and add to cart button, or at least change the button text to ‘In-store Only’

I am using the Dawn theme (7.0.1.)

Thanks!

Hi Ketan,

The URL is: https://www.thestageshop.com.au/

The brand is ‘Bloch’, none of their products have been published yet (Due to my above enquiry), so let me know if you need a product of theirs active.

Thanks for the reply!

Hi @KetanKumar , need the same thing as @Ellisons . I have checked out their website and the ‘purchase instore’ button replacement is perfect. Is it a:) easy to implement? and b:) easy to add/remove products? (can it be set to certain collections? as there are only a few items we don’t wish to sell online but still have the product information online.)
