Hiding PayPal Express Check-Out on Check-out Page

Hi Shopify Community! Is there any way to hide the PayPal Express check out option on the checkout page? This can be either through changing code or a specific App. I am on the “Grow” Plan.

I ask because my customers are confused and think that that is the only way to pay for their order. I understand that it says “Or” on the page, however my clients still experience confusion unfortunately…

To remove PayPal completely → disable it in payment settings.

To keep it but avoid confusion → use cart notes or messaging.

No code or app can hide the PayPal button on the actual checkout unless you’re on Shopify Plus plan
