High Traffic (1000 visite/days) but No Sales

Hello Shopify Community,

I am reaching out for some guidance and insights. My shop, https://www.amaranta-paris.com, is currently receiving over 1000 visitors daily. Despite this high traffic, I’m not seeing any conversions into orders.

I’m looking for advice on any strategies or changes that could help improve my conversion rate. I’m open to all suggestions, from website design and user experience to marketing tactics and product presentation.

If anyone has insights, experiences, or suggestions they’re willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time and assistance!

Where’s all this traffic coming from? Is it targeted or just junk traffic?

Targeted traffic. With ads. From snapchat, google and meta.

Hi @MAAM ,

I’m Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. I love your products, and store design. The images is in high quality and the clean design is awesome. However, from my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

1. Add language and currency switchers

In order to access the worldwide market, it’s crucial to take into account your international customer base.

The positive aspect is that the requirements of these customers will closely be the same as those of local customers: They desire content in their preferred language, the ability to complete transactions in a currency they’re familiar with, and a clear understanding of shipping options, costs, and product limitations based on their location.

By addressing these needs, you increase your chances of converting and retaining customers, regardless of their geographic location.

2. Provide as many product images as you can

You aim to replicate the in-person shopping experience as closely as you can for your online visitors. This means showing your product from various perspectives. While you may wonder why anyone would be interested in viewing the interior bottom of your product, the reality is that there are likely more potential customers than you might anticipate who won’t make a purchase unless they have this option.

You can:

  • Show up-close macro shots that show the detailed texture of the surface of your product with angled lighting.
  • Show shots of people wearing your product and mix and match with different outfit.

3. Add more testimonials - customer reviews

This section will help you build customers’ trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.

And please remove the unnecessary white spacing above this section to make your store outlook more professional.

4. Add a section of brand story

A business can stand out with its brand story. A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more attractive.

5. Make sure the styling is consistent

A crucial element for an online store’s homepage is the primary call-to-action button. This button serves as a direct link to the specific page where you want customers to take action, such as a collection or product page.

It’s great when you put the CTA button right where it should be. But please make sure that all CTA buttons on your page have a consistent styling to boost the conversion rate.

Here is a CTA button without hovering effect like others:

And that’s my feedback! Hope it helps you boost the conversion rate.

You worked hard in 2023 so I hope you get all the rest you need in 2024. Happy Selling and Happy New Year!

Cheers,

Garcia | PageFly Team

Hi MAAM,

This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.

First of all, I think your site looks quite wonderful and well-made. I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase your conversion rate:

  1. Call to action button. Add some call-to-action buttons under your products on your landing page, as well as on your product page.

  2. Connect Social Media. If you already have a growing Instagram account, it would help to connect the feed to your main site, thus giving it more social proof. Research shows that 76% of customers buy products seen on social media posts.

  3. Highlighting your product. The spinning diamond ring looks very eye-catching, but when I look at your products, it doesn’t seem to be one of them. Also, the prices of your products are on the reasonable end. I would suggest replacing this with one of your product spinning instead.

  1. Influencer Collab. Since you have visually appealing products, it would be good to connect with micro-influencers, send them some of your pieces, and ask them to create some content for your social media as well as your Shopify store.

  2. Connecting online with offline. If you have a showroom / physical store, make sure to always be telling your customers about your online store, adding a quick card with your online store address provides your new customers a chance to purchase again without coming to your physical store.

  3. Testimonials. Try to showcase at least 5 testimonials on your site. Whether it’s from friends and family, or your offline store customers. Having some social proof helps boost consumer confidence in your site.

  4. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Hope this helps!
