Hi I am using the habitat theme and I want to know if there is a way to enhance the quality of product photo images. They seem to be very compressed/blurry compared to similar sites?

There will be a degree of compression to your images enforced by the theme in order to optimize your online store’s speed, which does of course lead to comprimised image quality to some degree. Are you ensuring that your images are large enough and are of high quality enough when being uploaded? Please refer to our guidelines on adding large images to your storefront for tips and tricks on this.
If you feel that the images you’re uploading are being compressed to a high degree, I’d recommend contacting the developers of the Habitat theme directly and asking them for their guidance.

hi I feel like the files I have uploaded are high enough quality, it seems to just be desktop versions where the reduction is happening!
Right, I see. In that case, I’d recommend reaching out to the theme developers to ask them if they have any guidance on this. They can take a look at your store and see if the theme is compressing the images to a greater extent than it should.
