Homepage images blurry on laptop screens (Dawn theme)

We have issues with the images on the homepage (and other pages that are image heavy) looking blurry on screens that are 12-15". We use different imagery for the desktop, tablet and mobile views (and follow the sizing recommendations from Shopify) but it seems that these screen sizes are viewing a scaled down version of the desktop image not the tablet image resulting in the blurriness.

Anyone have similar issues? Ideas on how we can fix this?

@helen_s You need to upload 1519 X 868 size image but you have uploaded 750 x 429 size images, That’s why the images are blury on laptop devices.

hey @techDynasty where are you seeing that? We have our images set as 3840x2194 for desktop, 1536x878 for tablet, 1080x1480 for mobile.

Thank you for sending that. I am a little confused about how the “intrinsic size” is smaller as our original file is the accurate size (see screenshots). Really appreciate your help with this
