Homepage Video working on desktop, but not mobile. Pls Help

Hello Shopify community,

I am currently finishing up designing a store. I embedded a video onto the homepage with the add custom html option.

I got the video the size I wanted it, and was able to get the video to auto loop muted, but it will not play on mobile version. I’ve spent hours browsing for a solution here.

Hoping one of you has a solution for this,

I am having the same issue! Have you gotten anywhere with it? I see on mobile you have to click yours to play. Even that would be better than whats currently happening on mine, the video is just huge and covers miles of scrolling on mobile, but its perfect on desktop
