Hi all,

I am nearing the end of finishing designing my website and was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to take a look at the current version and share their honest thoughts?

I will use constructive feedback to help optimise it and add/make further changes. Most pages need minor tweaks but I think I mostly need to work on the product pages. If offering feedback, please let me know which device you used to visit my website in case there is a device specific issue.

Hey there @atmos-art I love the introduction section on the homepage. It makes your store feel more authentic for starters. I suggest you display some reviews or testimonials (if you haven’t really made sales yet) on the homepage. Having videos of the products in the gallery would also help with the aesthetic value of the store and help display your products much better.

Hi, thank you for checking out my website and sharing feedback. I may look into the testimonial suggestion for the home page. Re videos, do you mean including a video on each product page featuring the relevant product?

Hi @atmos-art

Overall Site Strengths

Your website demonstrates several positive elements that establish a strong foundation:

Brand Identity & Values: The eco-conscious, vegan-friendly, and cause-supporting positioning is clearly communicated and creates emotional connection. The trust bar highlighting these values appears prominently throughout the site.

Content Quality: The artist story and philosophy section (“Through my body of work…”) effectively communicates your unique value proposition.

Product Range: Clear segmentation between prints and original artworks with distinct pricing tiers

Detailed Product Page Feedback

Take this for example Dissolution of the Ego – Atmos Art

Strengths:

  • The artwork description is thorough and insightful (explains concept, techniques, symbolism).
  • There are two images: the artwork itself and the framed version.
  • Technical info is clear (dimensions, medium, includes hanging kit).
  • Trust bar at the top for Secure Payment, Quality, and Worldwide Shipping.

Key Opportunity:

1. Add More Lifestyle / In-Context Images (Artwork Hung in Real Space) – MOST IMPORTANT

This is precisely the area that will boost your page! CRO research shows:

Why do you need lifestyle images showing the art hung in real settings?

  • Helps customers visualize the actual size: Dimensions like 54.2 x 71.2 cm are abstract until a shopper sees the piece on a wall next to a sofa or bed.
  • Emotional connection: Customers can imagine your artwork in their own living space.
  • Higher conversion rate: Top art stores like IKONICK and Lindsay Letters use multiple lifestyle images on their product pages.
  • Reduces returns: Buyers know what to expect, avoiding disappointment due to size or presentation

2. Improve Image Gallery Layout

  • Right now: two images (artwork + framed)
  • Ideal: 5–8 images in this order: hero (main artwork), framed, living room, bedroom, close-up/detail, size comparison, packaging shot, artist-in-studio (optional)
  • This makes the shopping experience richer and builds buyer confidence.

3. Add a testimonial/ customer reviews section

You already had a star rating badge at the top but it’s not leveraging the full power of reviews to drive conversions. Most shoppers (95% according to research) read reviews before purchasing.

Recommended Layout:

  1. Product images (left/top)
  2. Product title + small star rating badge ← you have this
  3. Price
  4. Key features (Unique Artwork, Certificate, Ready to Hang)
  5. Add to Cart button
  6. Product description
  7. ↓↓↓ FULL REVIEWS SECTION HERE ↓↓↓
  8. Related products

I hope my feedback will be helpful for you. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Hi there!

I came across your post and decided to take a look at your store, it’s really impressive. The aesthetic is clean, your branding feels premium, and the minimal layout fits perfectly with the artistic theme. Great work so far!

I checked your website on both desktop and mobile, and overall it provides a smooth experience. Since you mentioned you’re still refining things, here are a few suggestions that could help further enhance your store:

Add more lifestyle or context images on product pages
Seeing the art displayed in real environments (rooms, walls, etc.) can help visitors visualize how it fits in their space and boost conversion.

Include more detailed product descriptions
You already have a clean format, but adding a bit more about inspiration, size details, and materials (if applicable) can help build emotional connection + trust.

Add customer reviews or testimonials section
Social proof always increases buyer confidence, even a few testimonials or anticipated reviews can make a difference.
Consider adding a sticky “Add to Cart” button on mobile
It helps mobile shoppers take action without scrolling back up.

Add a subtle trust badge or shipping & returns highlight
This reassures first-time buyers, especially for art purchases.

Your store has a strong foundation already, the attention to design and user experience really stands out. Keep going, you’re very close to a perfect final version!

If you’d like, I’d be happy to check again once you update the product pages.

Your growth matters! :rocket:

Key fixes for your art site:

  • Clarity: Add “Art Prints” or similar to your hero section so visitors instantly understand your offer

  • Trust: Add security badges, artist bio, and clear shipping/returns policy

  • Product Details: Include print dimensions, paper quality, and framing options

Focus on immediate clarity and trust-critical for art sales.

Hi @atmos-art

The aesthetic of your site is really good—well done. On desktop, the visuals are high-end, but the product pages lack context. Add brief Storytelling blurbs or material details near the “Add to cart” button that help communicate value. Maybe a sticky cart button on mobile and faster image loading to encourage engagement.

Hey @atmos-art,

Your website looks great! One suggestion I’d make for the future is to explore AR. It’s more affordable than it might seem and can make a real difference. Think of it as a digital showroom in your pocket, where your customers can try your pieces in any space before making a purchase.

Imagine someone browsing your store, clicking on a piece they like, and seeing a “View in AR” button. They tap it and can instantly see your artwork in their own space. They could even compare a few pieces side by side to see what fits best.

It’s a great way for customers to really get a feel for your art, including the colors, the size, and the details, instead of just looking at photos.

Excited to see you grow!

Hi Vizbl, thank you! AR certainly sounds like a great addition, though I am wondering how much strain it would put on my website speed and the cost of implementing such a feature. Do you have more information? And an example I can check out?

Hi, thank you for your feedback! I have asked the person helping me to add a sticky cart button. I have since updated my product page template for a product and was wondering if you could take a look and see if you think it looks better now?
