Hi @artforlight
Welcome to the community.
And this might be strange to you, but I suggest that everyone do a bit of research in Store Feedback category and see what mistakes people make all the time, and what solutions or tips they got, which you can apply to your store.
You do have a solid base and unique products, but Ithink it still needs some work. Your images are good, but some product images have lines, and some are lower resolution. That should not be happening on any store, and especially not on a jewelry store where details are important.
The second thing to notice is the lack of text, so content and a story to connect to customers. You have images and products, images and products, and very little text. For example, the “Unique Necklaces” title on one of the homepage banners. What makes it unique? How would you explain that to a customer who sees it for the first time? Just “trust me, it is unique”. And not some AI-generated text but real content.
You have in store meta description, that is visible here as well, “Designed by Doron Merdinger” but nowhere in rest of site I did not see that or any mention anywhere else on the rest of the site. What is the story behind each design? History? Nothing?
I mean you can sell and be nameless but that , for me does not bring trust at all.
Same, your About page, while it does have an image, the text does not tell much. Maybe AI-generated but for me, it could not make a connection as a customer.
Please change the Gmail email to something more professional.
Now, a bit on design: it is free, default Horizon theme and that is fine for start but think your products deserve more. More phocus on each one, better sections and block. You can make then in Horizon too, but take inspiration from some paid themes, for example, the product page of the Impact theme MW50+ (Silver Metal / Black Leather) see how much more sections they have dedicated to a single product? Or a real-life example: people say it converts well. For me, too many blocks and sections, but you can check what you’re missing Massage Insoles – Soothing Comfort & Pain Relief for Every Step | Stepprs. But with some blocks, you send strong trust signals.
Your header is too big; the logo is good, but it takes too much space. Footer: a lot of empty space.
Please check this topic and the store of how jewelry store should look like. Learn from it and apply the best practices to your store. User feedback you will see a differnerce and when personal details go in your favor.
One more thing that I noticed straight away, for example, on the product “Moon & Star necklace,” you have an image with 3 different products. I think you should avoid that; customers might get confused about what they get in the end. But also, you can use that image for some bundle earrings, necklace, and ring with a small discount.
Finally, that popup at homepage has not been set in proper way. You get a popup, you click, and it reloads the same page. Did you got the discount on click? What happened. Now, in the future, if you want to add notifications for your customers, like that “Grand Opening Special!” think of checking out our app, it has a free plan Atomato Email, SMS & Upsell - Onsite notifications and upsells through a feed, not popups | Shopify App Store And you can do all kinds of campaigns to get more connection with customers, and with that to convert more.
Good luck and keep working on the store.
