Horizon V-3.4.0 Navigation Hover issue

A new version was released within 10 days; however, the navigation hover issues remain unresolved.

When I move my mouse inside the SUB MENU (menu-list__submenu):

  1. Sometimes the submenu hides before I click the links ( inside the column).

  2. Even if I enter the submenu, I can’t move to the far columns-- before I reach them, the next li’s (menu-list__list-item) submenu opens.

Hi @prs2025

Welcome to the Shopify Community! Please share your store URL and password (if it’s password-protected), so I can check and provide you with the exact solution.

Best regards,

You may consider report it in .dev forum like I did for 3.3.0 – there is a higher chance Shopify people will see that.

However – I do not seem to have this problem in my test store.
Can you share a (preview)link to this theme in your store and a preview password if one is set?

I do not see a problem, however, look at the image at Vessel 3.3.0 submenu problems - #10 by tim_1 – this may explain what happens.

But this is an inherent problem with hover-based menus – visitor needs to be careful moving their mice…

You may alleviate this a little by adding an “extension” like the gray area on the screenshot below where green arrows represent valid mouse trails which would activate neighbouring menu items otherwise:

@tim_tairli yes. I was thinking about the same.
but we need to move the cursor only this way.

Yes.
Either add an “extension” similar to one I’ve suggested in the post linked above, or/and move the mega-menu higher so that there is no need to go down that much first.

Of course having the top level menu at the center, but mega-menu sub-menus too far left (because mega-menu takes full screen width) does not help…
