Hello everyone, I need some help. I’m from Brazil, my store use theme RIDE and I need to add two more fields in the customer registration form, but in the settings I didn’t find this option.
I saw that it is possible to insert by code.liquid, but I don’t know how to do it. Could someone help me with some information? It’s possible?
Thank you very much !

Hey @Marcielgm !
I am not sure how your existing form is set up, but if you want a no code solution for building a custom registration form, you can check out the Helium Customer Fields app which has a drag and drop form builder to add custom fields.
Hey, Brett_Helium, thank you very much to your help.
Hi to future readers,
We create an enhanced Shopify UI elements generator tool that works on product page, cart page, and also the contact form. This is easy to use, no code needed, and the good part is, it is FREE. You do not need to download an app either. Please check the video below
Hey!
Yeah, Shopify’s default registration form is pretty limited out of the box — to add custom fields like that, you usually need to edit the customers/register.liquid template, which can get tricky if you’re not comfortable with Liquid or HTML.
That said, if your current solution worked, great! Just in case you ever need something more visual or flexible down the road (like more field types, file uploads, dropdowns, or conditional questions), there are third-party form apps that can help.
One example is Elfsight’s Form Builder for Shopify — it has 20 field types and works with drag & drop, so no coding needed. You can also place the form wherever you want on your store, like a separate registration page or even as a popup.
Might come in handy if your form setup gets more complex later.
Cheers,
Elfsight Team
