I’ve talked with many merchants recently and most are still struggling to get quality SEO backlinks without spending thousands on agencies or manual outreach.
That’s actually why I built Backlinker for Shopify, a way for Shopify merchants to exchange guest posts and build relevant backlinks more easily.
Curious to know:
What’s currently working for your Shopify SEO?
Are backlinks still part of your strategy?
What’s your biggest frustration with SEO right now?
Would love to hear real experiences from other merchants
Honestly, backlinks is old SEO technique.. Only believe in trusted links for your domain.
Auto backlinks look like a spam, if you have business then only work on valuable website and these customers are available..
Example.. If have shopify shopping
website, then below kind of backlinks you can consider
- Internal links ( product and blog )
- Customer feedback and store listing
- Social media present and activities
- YouTube ( client view )
- Infulancer marketing
- Etc
Hi @YassineMalti, congrats on your new product on your Shopify store.
For us, building relationships and getting backlinks is still a key strategy. We often advise clients moving to Shopify from other platforms to focus on link building so Google can pick up signals faster.
As for the biggest SEO challenge, Google is adding many new features to the search results (like AIO, Short video, etc.). Their ranking system also changes often and feels more like testing than a stable system like before.
Back to backlinks, relevance matters most. That makes it harder for niche products or services to earn links naturally. This is a common challenge. What does your team think about it?
It’s great to see tools like yours addressing the backlink struggle, as high-quality, relevant links remain a vital ranking factor. Currently, many Shopify merchants find that while backlinks are important, their biggest frustration is actually Technical SEO , specifically slow indexing, broken links, and managing complex schema across growing product catalogs. Without a solid technical foundation, even the best backlink strategy can underperform.
To automate the technical heavy lifting and ensure your store is actually “index-ready” for Google, I highly recommend using SearchPie. It streamlines everything from site speed to real-time indexing requests, letting you focus more on building connections and less on debugging Search Console errors.
