How are you using AI tools for your marketing efforts? Anything you’d recommend to other entrepreneurs?
I use AI tools usually when the original product contents are outdated and need to be updated. Some AI generated results can give me some new ideas and I can use them to optimize into a better version. Always create your own contents and avoid multiple copied results can boost your store with best!
I use Ai tools to generate Images for the products. Ai generate far better than the actual images.
It’s help a lot to generate numbers of images with one click.
, create product image, video
Image generation, then probably using some tools for video generation as well, recently that’s getting a lot of buzz after sora 2 came out. Also adapting voice AI heavily into my structure, not just shopify, but in general for customer support, feedback, product recommendations and so on..
Decile has been a game changer for many of our clients’ marketing teams. The ability to answer questions about your customer base and effectively personalize marketing efforts has been central to their growth. We just launched Luma AI by Decile, which makes answering questions easier than ever with a conversational experience.
We’ve been doing something interesting recently, since we sell to corporate we’ve implemented social listening into our stack, aka when our buyers start talking about our product we get notified. (Our sales process generally works via us reaching out as we’re b2b products rather than b2c).
We use predictent.ai to listen for competitor or product specific keywords, then we filter through the messages each day and find relevant posts to either
A) Gently push our products to everyone in the thread
B) Connect with whoever made the post and aware them of what we’re offering
Again we’re in a pretty specific niche but its working well for us and generating business, i think the same could apply to larger B2C brands who are scanning for competitor conversations to expose their name too.
We’re mainly using AI to speed up content creation and improve consistency across our marketing. It helps with writing ad copy, product descriptions, SEO content and even brainstorming campaign ideas when we feel stuck. We also use it to analyze keywords, refine messaging for different audiences, and save time on repetitive tasks. My recommendation to other entrepreneurs would be: don’t rely on AI to replace your voice use it as a support tool to move faster, test more ideas, and stay focused on strategy and customer experience.
Product Enhancements, Catalog Aware blog generation, Social media posts. Image generation. Adding background to product images for marketing images and featured images in blog posts.
Using AI for content creation and for better taglines and descriptions has really helped us speeding and refining our processes. Hope that more tools will be on the way so that merchants can benefit from them more.
I’m using AI mostly to ‘Optimize’ content for products. I try to write the first draft myself for taglines and descriptions, then optimize it further with AI.
Hello ! Yes, I use AI every day, it’s incredibly powerful, and honestly, it’s hard to avoid now. For me, I use it to generate content ideas, create images and videos, optimize copywriting, and more.
My main advice would be: just start using it and learn along the way.
Try tools that are well-designed and focus on understanding how to prompt them properly to get the best results.
- Paid ChatGPT to make daily enquiries. Then I make the final decision, which does not always coincide with what it tells me.
- Paid ChatGPT to create header images for my blog articles.
Merry Christmas to all! ![]()
This is a helpful summary of how people are using AI today
It shows AI working as support not a full replacement
Points like content and images are common on many website teams
Good reminder to keep the human touch in marketing
I found the Shopify AI could make “If / then” statements in code and worked that into my products. Such as “If the products are Qty 9999 or higher, then put Always in stock for inventory” and “If the product is out of stock, use a random display of 5 phrases in that product” Yes, it gave me a place in the code to add and tweak as many phrases that I want.
I find AI tools often come in handy with researching and suggesting creative ideas for content marketing.
I’ve been using AI mainly to refresh product descriptions and generate quick image variations. It saves time and sparks new ideas, but I always tweak the outputs so the content stays authentic and on-brand.
I’ve been experimenting with a few AI tools this year to help scale my marketing, and the one that really stood out for me was Batna: This has been my ‘secret weapon’ for conversion. It’s an AI ‘Make an Offer’ tool. I use it on specific collections where I have some margin to play with. It negotiates with the customer to find the minimum discount needed to close the deal. It’s much more effective than just blasting a 20% off code to everyone because it protects my margins while still making the customer feel like they got a personalized deal.
AI has helped me a lot! You can use Sora to create product images, and the new version of Sora now also supports generating AI videos. It’s amazing! Who would believe it? I think one person can handle all the store operations. You can entrust product descriptions to ChatGPT, Gemini, or apps that integrate multiple AI models like 4Seller. They are really powerful!
Honestly, we’re using AI more as a support tool than a replacement for real marketing thinking. It helps speed up things like drafting content ideas, improving ad copy, doing quick keyword research, and analyzing campaign performance. That saves a lot of time, especially on repetitive tasks. But the strategy, brand voice, and final decisions are still very human-led. AI gives us a strong starting point; experience and understanding the customer are what turn it into results.
