How can a merchant reach customer support effectively?

How does a merchant contact support now? https://help.shopify.com/en/support sends you to a useless help page. Clicking on https://help.shopify.com/en/questions/buyer-complaint sends you to a generic help page for customers.

I need to talk to someone about errors customers are getting when attempting to check out. Your help pages do not offer any help with that, and neither does the virtual assistant. I even got the virtual assistant stuck.

You can contact our support team through this page. When you visit the page I shared you’ll need to first tell the Help Center assistant your question or problem and it will direct you through the next steps to get the support you need. It sounds like you’ve had some trouble using the Help Center assistant, so if you’re still having trouble with this please let me know what you’re seeing on your end and I can look into that further.

If you tell me more about the errors your customers are seeing at checkout I may be able to help with that here as well. I won’t be able to see your account information here over the Shopify Community, but if you can explain the isssue you’re experiencing I can still review it for you and share any advice or context I have.

On the help pages in the bots chatbox type “support advisor” then you may need to select the store from the prompt or login.
