How and where to make a blog so i can drive more sales to my online store ?
A blog on the site always brings benefits. There are several posts on this topic on our website, we recommend reading them.
Shopify provides a built-in blog so you can create posts on their platform, but honestly, it’s not very convenient so far. Also, there are quite a lot of things missing there, if you ask me.
I’d go with something like Magefan Blog App. It has a “clean” interface and a lot of built-in features. e.g. related posts, and products which are good for promoting products.
Adding a blog to your Shopify store can have many benefits. You increase your authority, add content to your store/website that you can share on your social channels, and, most importantly, get new visitors from Google & Co.
As already mentioned in this thread, the native Shopify blog lacks various features, such as help with SEO, a clean URL structure, content team specific user permissions, social media sharing features and the ability to add products to your blog posts.
A specific blogging app, such as BlogHandy on the Shopify app marketplace, helps with everything mentioned above.
Simple answer:
- Log into your store’s dashboard
- In the sidebar, under Sales channels click Online Store
- Under that, click Blog posts to manage your blogs and posts
